and since they have kept Resize9.5 available, I still have the functionality that they removed. Having said all that, I still reckon the overall suite is one of the best available for adding PP effects, textures etc. Currently, after a few image round-trips I have to close/open Photoshop to free up memory) I haven't really looked at it yet, but I really hope that they have fixed some of the memory leak problems when using it as a Photoshop plug-in. There are also some changes to the way that the browse and enhance modules work, but again these are cosmetic improvements (which are nice if you use them).

Overall, the 'Emperor's new clothes' springs to mind! However, there are bugs in the export module which I have reported to OnOne and which they have confirmed. Since you are using it standalone, the 'NEW' export module (which actually just brings existing functions into one place) may work better for you. There are some NEW functions related to storing and maintaining lists of favorites, but nothing startling. You can do everything in Photo10 in PhotoSuite9.5, some of it takes longer in 9.5, but some of it takes longer in 10 and some things are no longer possible (like Resize as a plug-in for Photoshop).

True, but it's only the structure that is new, not any real functionality. There's a lot of hype, but in reality, all they have done is re-organize the way the modules work (like they always do) so it looks new and then go on at great length about how the new structure is NEW. There is very little that is truly NEW in Photo10. From my recent experience I think they have concentrated on improving the workflow in the standalone product and they have not done enough work on making sure the plug-in functionality actually works as described. Let me state up front that I use Suite 9.5 and Photo10 as a plug-in for Photoshop and not in standalone mode. BUT after pre-ordering and installing Photo!0 I have some reservations about the new version.
